Business coaching structure

30 March 2009

When I start a business coaching relationship with any of my business owners and directors, it is very important to lay a solid foundation of what is expected from the coach and what is expected from the client. This way both parties start off from a position of knowing, rather than one of uncertainty. It is a four part model involving the responsibilities of the client, my responsibility as the business coach, the logistics of the process and what the future journey will involve in terms of discovery.

After reading this you will have:

  • an easy to understand four part model of the principal areas of interaction between the client and me, the business coach
  • a picture of what is expected from the client and the coach
  • a complete idea of what subjects will be covered in the 1st coaching session
  • a foundation on which to base the coaching experience
  • the areas of responsibility for the client and me the business coach
